I knew it was too good to be true ...

Spring on the prairies is always an adventure. This is the nice way to say 'the weather is dreadful today in Saskatchewan'. After beautiful spring temperatures the last few weeks, snow almost all gone, we get a big dump of fresh stuff. It was probably my fault anyway, I took the winter coats and boots down to the basement for storage for next winter.
On the positive side, today's weather makes me want to scrapbook - surprise, surprise.

Nice Layout

Layout (minus journaling because forgot add that in before taking pic) using Teen Angst paper pack by We Are Memory Keepers. Feel a little guilty sometimes just using materials from a single pack to do a project but you know what -- it is so easy and well, NICE. :)

Mama-razzi strikes again

Love the title of one of Bo Bunny's latest collections -- Mama-razzi. Mama (me) is always taking pictures of her innocent and unsuspecting children. The following layout is one such picture which was doctored up with a digital frame. Had this picture laying around for a couple of months, couldn't find paper that really said 'wow' to me. This, an amazing thought, given how much paper I have downstairs! Then along came good old Bo Bunny (a favourite manufacturer) whom provided me with just the right 'wow'. Check it out!

Liking the Green at Heart Line of Basic Grey

Some very 'spring like' cards on a cold winter day ...

Benefits

A cool a benefit of working in a scrapbooking store is that your boss could say 'here is pile of new papers from Basic Grey, create something with them would u?' How could I say no to that?

I feel so needed ...

I just realized that I have neglected (and perhaps failed to promote) my change in jobs. I posted a while back that I had finally obtained my dream job - working at a scrapbooking store. Just days before accepting that job I had applied at another local scrapbooking store but hadn't heard anything back. Well, I received a call from that other store late November and was asked if I'd be interested in working a couple of afternoons a week.

A nice dilemma wouldn't u say? And my husband never thought my scrapbooking hobby would amount to anything but debt. :)

So after some thinking and talking to present employer (Paper Trails), I realized I would have a greater chance at more hours at Just Scrap It. I have been in a few times and still have lots to learn. The good part is that I know the product well (big smile) and I get paid to touch everything!

There is a link to JSI's blog at left. Come in and see me sometime, I will be the one tangled up in pricing gun tape.

'Time' for a new layout ...

Time flies when you are having fun - can't believe we are into 2010 already!
In keeping with the theme of time - a new layout about my youngest and my hubby.
